Adam Wainwright yielded two earned runs in seven innings Sunday as the Cardinals fell to the Pirates. It was a decent outing from Wainwright, who gave up only five hits and struck out seven batters. But he was out-dueled by Pirates starter Edinson Volquez and the Cardinals' ace took his first loss of 2014. Wainwright has a good chance to get back into the win column next time out against a bad Cubs team.
