Adam Wainwright yielded three runs over seven innings for his 18th win Monday against the Nationals. Oddly enough, the Cardinals' victory put NL Central rivals Cincinnati and Pittsburgh into the postseason, as it knocked the Nationals out of contention. Wainwright is scheduled to start Sunday, but that will probably change at some point. His regular season might be over at 18-9 with a 3.01 ERA.
