Adam Wainwright will start for the Cardinals on Opening Day, March 31, against the Reds. It was an obvious choice for Cardinals manager Mike Matheny. Wainwright finished second in the National League Cy Young Award voting last season after going 19-9 with a 2.94 ERA, 1.068 WHIP, and 219/35 K/BB ratio in 241 2/3 innings. He'll be a fantasy ace again in 2014.
