Adam Wainwright went a Grapefruit League-high eight innings Friday in the Cardinals' shutout of the Nationals. Trevor Rosenthal finished up the three hitter. Wainwright walked none and struck out seven. The Cards will probably back off him a little bit in his final spring start Wednesday before he pitches on Opening Day.
