Adam Wainwright was charged with four runs on eight hits and a walk over seven innings in Wednesday's loss to the Pirates. He struck out six. Wainwright wasn't super sharp, leaving some pitches up over the plate that led to single runs in the first, third, fourth and fifth innings. Though he hasn't blown up in any outings, Waino has now surrendered four earned runs in three of his last six starts. He'll try to bounce back next weekend at home against the Dodgers.
