Adam Wainwright turned in a strong performance in Friday's victory over the Nationals, allowing one run on five hits over six innings of work. Wainwright racked up five strikeouts in the game while issuing only one walk. He needed just 84 pitches to get through six innings, and left with a comfortable 9-1 lead. He'll head into his final start of the season against the Reds at home on Wednesday with a respectable 14-13 record, 3.94 ERA and 184/52 K/BB ratio over his 198 2/3 innings.
