St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright (hamstring) will come off the disabled list to start Thursday's game. Rookie Jack Flaherty was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move despite his excellent start on Tuesday. Wainwright will start the Cardinals' home opener, but with Flaherty showing well in his one turn, Wainwright may not have as long a leash as he's had in previous seasons.
