Adam Wainwright threw seven scoreless innings in the Cardinals' 5-0 win over the Pirates on Saturday. Reports of Wainwright's demise were greatly exaggerated. The right-hander struggled through two poor starts against the Reds his last two times out, but Wainwright allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out eight on Saturday. He looks to be just fine, and he's now 16-9 with a 3.03 ERA. He'll take on the Mariners in an interleague tilt on Friday.
