St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright was excellent in Tuesday's start against the Washington Nationals. Wainwright threw seven innings, allowing just one run on five hits and one walk while striking out 10. The only run Wainwright allowed was a sixth inning solo home run off the bat of Josh Bell.
