Adam Wainwright recorded 10 strikeouts but suffered his second loss of the World Series Monday, allowing three runs over seven frames against the Red Sox. Wainwright hung an 0-2 curveball with one out in the first that Dustin Pedroia banged for a double, and David Ortiz pulled another double down the line on the next pitch. The back breaker came in the seventh, when David Ross plated the go-ahead run with a ground rule double and then Jacoby Ellsbury provided an insurance run with a two-out bloop single. Though he's pitched pretty well in two of the starts, Waino has lost each of his last three postseason outings.
