Adam Wainwright (knee) completed a normal workout without issue on Wednesday. Wainwright hyperextended his right knee during the seventh inning of Tuesday's game, leaving after 79 pitches. He said after the game that he expects to make his next start, and he reiterated that again Wednesday. Whether he does is ultimately up to manager Mike Matheny and the Cardinals training staff, but he appears to have avoided anything serious, at the very least.
