Adam Wainwright had a rare clunker Friday night, giving up seven runs over just 4 1/3 innings in a loss to the Giants. Not surprisingly, it was his shortest outing of the season. Wainwright was touched up for eight hits (including a three-run homer by Hunter Pence) before being pulled. His ERA jumped from 1.67 to 2.32 with the poor outing. Look for him to rebound next week against the Royals in Kansas City.
