Adam Wainwright fired seven innings of one-run ball Tuesday in the Cardinals' defeat of the Astros. Houston's lineup had no chance. Wainwright yielded just one extra-base hit and one walk while striking out nine. He is 12-5 with a 2.30 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 126/14 K/BB ratio in 140 2/3 innings this season and should keep rolling next time out against the Cubs.
