Adam Wainwright delivered another dazzling performance in Sunday's victory over the Reds, matching his career-high with 12 strikeouts while hurling eight shutout innings. Wainwright allowed just five hits and a walk in the impressive performance. All five hits allowed were singles, and there was very little in the way of hard contact against him the entire night. He now boasts an 8-2 record on the season with an outstanding 1.67 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 77/16 K/BB ratio through his first 81 innings. He'll look to continue that domination when he does battle against the Giants at home on Friday.
