Adam Wainwright continued his dominance over the National League on Sunday, going eight scoreless innings in the Cardinals' win over the Pirates. Wainwright needed 99 pitches to get through eight shutout innings, giving up three hits and two walks while striking out seven. The right-hander hasn't allowed a run in his last three starts spanning 24 innings. In all, he's 5-1 with a 1.20 ERA and 0.78 WHIP. The Cubs will try to solve Wainwright when he and the Cardinals visit on Saturday.
