Adam Wainwright absolutely rolled over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday, throwing a one-hit shutout en route to a 5-0 victory. The only blemish on the night was a two-out double by Paul Goldschmidt in the fourth inning. Otherwise, Wainwright was brilliant. The right-hander didn't walk a batter while striking out nine, and he faced just one batter over the minimum. With all his accomplishments, Tuesday's outing was the first one-hit shutout of his career. He leads the National League with seven wins and is among the league leaders in most every pitching category. He'll take a 1.85 ERA and 0.86 WHIP into Sunday's start at the Reds.
