Adam Rubin of ESPN New York writes that the Mets will non-tender Mike Pelfrey this winter. Pelfrey is coming off Tommy John surgery and is due a raise from the $5.6875 million he made this season, so it's an easy call to cut him loose. The Mets are interested in bringing him back, but he'll likely go elsewhere on an incentive-laden one-year deal so that he can reestablish his value.
