Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports that the Mets have offered David Wright a seven-year extension which would keep him with the club through at least 2020. In other words, the new deal would be on top of the $16 million he is owed in 2013. No word on specific terms, but Andy Martino of the New York Daily News reported early Tuesday that the Mets have made a seven-year offer "well in excess" of $100 million. Wright, who turns 30 next month, is reportedly seeking a seven-year deal worth more than $120 million.
