Adam Lind delivered a two-run single in the first inning on Friday, helping to lead the Blue Jays to a 3-2 victory over the Royals. Lind finished the evening 1-for-3. Lind fell behind in the count 1-2 in his first at-bat, but battled back before lining an Ervin Santana offering into center field to put the Jays ahead to stay. The 30-year-old first baseman has had a bit of a resurgence this year, hitting .282/.354/.470 with 16 homers and 47 RBI in 119 games.
