Adam Lind (back) is scheduled to take batting practice Friday. Lind was shut down for three days after feeling tightness in his lower back on Tuesday. This is the same injury which sent him to the disabled list for a month last year, so there is some concern that this could be a lingering issue. We should know more about his status after he hits Friday.
