Adam Kennedy (groin) resumed hitting on Tuesday, but isn't yet ready to run. Kennedy hasn't played since suffering a right groin strain during Sunday's game. Assuming he gets back up to speed over the next couple of days, the 36-year-old open the season on the Dodgers' bench.
