Adam Eaton has been playing through a broken right middle finger. Eaton broke the finger on a head-first slide in the series against the Red Sox prior to the All-Star break but kept the injury quiet. He singled twice and stole a base Monday, so it appears the ailment isn't bothering him too much. "I've been trying to hold the bat a little differently and swing it differently," said Eaton "It's something you deal with," Eaton said after Monday's game. "It's something you have to play through and I know anybody else in here would do it."
