The Mets reinstated Garrett (elbow) from the 15-day injured list Sunday.

The 32-year-old reliever has been cleared to rejoin the active roster after a brief minor-league rehab assignment, during which he threw a scoreless inning with one strikeout for Double-A Binghamton.
