Taylor spent a month on the injured list but recently began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville. He went 6-for-13 with two doubles, three runs and two RBI across five rehab games and has now been cleared to rejoin the major-league club. The 27-year-old will serve mainly as outfield depth but is starting in center field and batting eighth in Tuesday's game against the Cardinals, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
