The Cardinals reinstated Dean (wrist) from the 7-day injured list Saturday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Dean fractured his wrist in playing with Triple-A Memphis in mid-May after being optioned there May 3. He had 34 plate appearances with the Cardinals in April, and it's unclear whether he'll get any more big-league opportunities in 2021.
