Ackley will likely miss a few more days after an MRI showed bone spurs in his left ankle, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports. Ackley is set to miss a third straight start Tuesday and it sounds like he'll be held out at least through Thursday's off day, with the team likely hoping he can return for this weekend's crucial series against Oakland. While the M's haven't indicated as much, Ackley may very well need arthroscopic surgery in the offseason, depending on whether or not they feel it's best for his long-term health.
