Ackley (ankle) remains out of the Mariners' lineup Tuesday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports. Ackley was held out of Monday's lineup due to a left ankle concern and he'll sit again Tuesday, with Endy Chavez in left for Seattle. The Mariners sent Ackley for what was deemed a precautionary MRI, and while the results have not been made public, it seems a return for Wednesday's finale against the Astros is far from a lock. With Michael Saunders back on the active roster, Ackley's opportunities may be scaled back a bit over the final weeks, but he figures to at least split time with Chavez upon his return.
