According to William Ladson of MLB.com, now that J.P. Howell has signed with the Dodgers, Bill Bray has a chance to be the second left-hander in the Nationals bullpen.
Bray, who inked a minor league deal with the Nats earlier this offseason, was limited to just 8 2/3 innings in 2012 due to back and groin injuries. He was extremely effective as a left-handed specialist for the Reds in 2011 however, posting a 2.98 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 44/17 K/BB ratio over 48 1/3 innings while limiting left-handed hitters to a miserable .180/.265/.292 line.
