According to Troy Renck of the Denver Post, Dexter Fowler is now represented by Casey Close of Excel Sports Management. Fowler was previously represented by Scott Boras, but he feels like Close is a better makes more sense for him at this point in his career. The 26-year-old was arbitration-eligible for the first time last winter as a Super Two player, so he remains under team control though 2015. The Rockies expect him to be more receptive to the idea of a long-term extension now that he's not represented by Boras.
