According to Rangers GM Jon Daniels, there are still several hurdles that Mike Adams must clear before he is able to return to the mound. Adams has been diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome, which will require offseason surgery. He's not expected to be available for the ALDS, and sounds questionable to return at all in the month of October should the Rangers advance further.
