According to Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record, the Mets have summoned outfielder Kirk Nieuwenhuis to Arizona. The Mets have yet to make an official roster move, but Juan Lagares (hamstring) is expected to be placed on the disabled list. Nieuwenhuis might only be on the roster for a couple of days, as Chris Young (quad) is eligible to be activated Friday.
