According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com, the Red Sox have signed Scott Podsednik to a major league contract. Full circle in a little under two weeks. The Red Sox dealt Podsednik and right-hander Matt Albers to the Diamondbacks on July 31 for left-hander Craig Breslow. However, the D-Backs granted Podsednik his release two days later after he declined a minor league assignment with Triple-A Reno. Now the 36-year-old outfielder is back with Boston.
