According to Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com, the Blue Jays have expressed interest in a trade for Rockies' closer Huston Street. The Rockies are expected to move Street this winter, as Rafael Betancourt has emerged as an alternative for the closer's role. Street is due $7.5 million next season while his contract includes a $9 million player option or a $500,000 buyout. The report speculates that the Rockies could make a play at Brad Lidge if Street is traded, though Troy Renck of the Denver Post reported Tuesday that they would likely attempt to sign LaTroy Hawkins.
