According to Juan C. Rodriguez of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the Marlins will be responsible for less than $200,000 of Mike Cameron's $7.25 million salary for this season. In other words, the Marlins have very little to lose here. Cameron figures to play regularly in center field in the short-term, with Emilio Bonifacio moving to third base. The 38-year-old is likely a stop-gap until Chris Coghlan (knee) proves worthy of returning to the majors, but he's worthy of a pickup in NL-only leagues.
