According to Jon Heyman of SI.com, Chris Capuano is seeking a two-year contract this winter. Capuano proved to be a real bargain for the Mets this season, posting a 4.55 ERA and 168/53 K/BB ratio over 186 innings. The 33-year-old southpaw fared far better at home (3.82 ERA) than on the road (5.42 ERA), but he should be able to find the multi-year contract he desires in a weak market for starting pitchers. As for the Mets, they will be on the search for the next Capuano.
