According to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, the Mets plan to push back Johan Santana ''a day or two'' for his next start. Santana threw a career-high 134 pitches in his no-hitter Friday, a huge number for someone coming off major shoulder surgery, so Mets manager Terry Collins wants to give him some extra rest. This would all seem to indicate that Miguel Batista (back) will be activated from the disabled list to start next week.
