According to Joe Frisaro of MLB.com, the Braves will explore trades for Dan Uggla this offseason. Frisaro opines that a return to the Marlins could be one potential destination for the embattled slugger, who is coming off an extremely disappointing season in which he hit .179/.309/.362 with 22 homers, 55 RBI and 171 strikeouts in 136 games. Uggla is the Marlins all-time leader in home runs, and with a gaping hole at second base a reunion could make sense for both parties, provided the Braves are willing to eat a portion of the $26 million remaining on his contract the next two seasons.
