According to Jim Bowden of ESPN.com, the Marlins "would have interest in a Ricky Nolasco for Peter Bourjos-type deal." It comes as no surprise, as the salary-dumping Marlins would surely be willing to deal their highest-paid player despite reports earlier this month saying they had no plans to do so. Nolasco's agent has said the righty wants to be traded, though they never made a formal request to the Marlins. Whether or not the Angels would be interested in doing such a deal isn't known. They might not view Nolasco as an upgrade over their current No. 5 starter options.
