According to Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports, Carlos Quentin will be suspended eight games for charging the mound against Zack Greinke on Thursday night. There has been no official announcement yet, but it could come as soon as Friday night. Quentin is scheduled to be in the Padres' starting lineup on Friday and will likely appeal the suspension. Look for Jesus Guzman and Chris Denorfia to see increased playing time in the Padres' outfield once Quentin serves his punishment.
