According to Jayson Stark of ESPN.com, the Rockies are "willing to eat all money for prospects" in trading Huston Street.
Colorado is aggressively shopping its long-time closer. Street posted a solid 3.86 ERA and 55/9 K/BB ratio over 58 1/3 innings this year, but he's owed $7.5 million in 2012 and Colorado management prefers Rafael Betancourt in the ninth-inning role at this point, so Street has likely pitched his last game as a Rockie. The Padres, Reds, Marlins, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Mets and Orioles have all been linked to Street this offseason, but we can probably cross Toronto and Miami off the list of possible destinations after those clubs acquired Sergio Santos and Heath Bell, respectively.
