According to Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronice, Chad Gaudin has all but locked up a spot in the Giants' Opening Day bullpen as a swingman. Schulman points to the fact that Gaudin has being given a start in Wednesday's split-squad game against the Padres. The 30-year-old right-hander has compiled a 2.19 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 9/4 K/BB ratio over 12 1/3 innings this spring. He's a non-factor in fantasy leagues.
