According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, the Cardinals are saying they have no plans to pursue Jimmy Rollins. ESPN's Buster Olney reported early Monday morning that the Cardinals and Brewers represented the Phillies' "primary competition" for Rollins. But Crasnick says St. Louis does not have interest at this point and won't suddenly gain interest even if Albert Pujols is unable to be re-signed. Rollins, 33, batted .268/.338.399 with 16 home runs and 30 steals in 142 games this past year for Philly. He's thought to be seeking a five-year contract.
