According to ESPN's Jayson Stark, the Red Sox, Cardinals, Dodgers, Braves, Orioles, Reds and Rangers are scouting Jake Peavy's start Thursday vs. Detroit. It's a tough matchup for the veteran right-hander, but it should provide those scouts from contending teams with a nice look at Peavy's ability to navigate a dangerous lineup. Peavy, 32, has a 4.19 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 69/15 K/BB ratio in 73 innings this season with last-place Chicago. He's highly likely to be moved next week.
