According to ESPN's Jayson Stark, Alfredo Simon is generating "lots of buzz" on the waiver wire. The Orioles placed Simon on waivers this past weekend after watching him post an ugly 7.00 ERA in nine Grapefruit League innings. The 30-year-old right-hander has a legitimate power arm and will likely land with a new organization in the next couple of days.
