According to ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick, the Royals only have "minimal" interest in free agent Roy Oswalt. Kansas City is simply checking in on the 34-year-old, although the two sides may meet later on this week. Oswalt is also drawing interest from the Diamondbacks, Nationals and Phillies after posting a 3.69 ERA and 93/39 K/BB ratio over 139 innings for Philadelphia in 2011.
