According to Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Freddy Sanchez has received interest from multiple teams this offseason. It's not clear if the Cardinals are one of the teams that have considered signing him, but he's yet to receive an offer. Sanchez missed all last season due to injuries and hasn't played since 2011. Assuming he's healthy, the 35-year-old will likely have to reestablish his value on a minor league deal.
