According to CBS Sports' Jon Heyman, the Blue Jays are expected to target Padres slugger Carlos Quentin. But they won't be alone. Quentin is batting .481 with a 1.734 OPS in eight games since returning from the disabled list and would look good in just about any lineup. The Padres may try to work out a contract extension first with the impending free agent outfielder but are sure to shop him if a deal can't be struck. The non-waiver trade deadline is July 31.
