As expected, New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge was named the 2022 American League Most Valuable Player on Thursday. Judge picked a nice season to set an AL record with 62 home runs before becoming a free agent this offseason. While also breaking Roger Maris' single-season AL home run record, Judge also finished just five batting average points shy of the Triple Crown.
