A source told Andrew Baggarly of CSNBayArea.com that Brian Wilson (elbow) was "impressive" and looked "game ready" during a throwing session Monday. Giants pitching coach Dave Righetti stood in the batter's box as Wilson threw off a mound, while the team's bullpen catcher, Billy Hayes, caught the reliever. Though there was no radar gun in attendance, Baggarly's source estimated that Wilson topped out around 94 mph and had "terrific stuff." It appears that the Giants are legitimately interested in bringing their former closer back. Other teams will surely be in the hunt if he looks as good as the report claims.
