A second opinion on Gavin Floyd's right elbow has confirmed a tear of his flexor muscle. He will get a third opinion from Dr. David Altchek on Monday in New York. Floyd admitted Thursday that surgery is a possibility, and it seems likely that he'll have an operation if Altchek offers a similar diagnosis. If Floyd does go under the knife, it will probably end his season.
